    best song of the year. if you don't like it's okay, it's just you don't have taste.

    It’s bad, sorry blinks. I wanted it to be a bop but it was disjointed and after the first chorus they lost me. The ratatata was trash. I expected better from teddy and yg.


    I feel like some blinks are brainwashing themselves to like it, you can tell by all the posts in the front page.

    no comment on the song but blinks is beyond delusional on the main forum right now. Geez, I have seen many comeback who praise their fav, but Blinks easily take the cake here. Army is kinda tame in comparison.

    I might be successfully brainwashed because I absolutely liked it.

    It's funny seeing blinks making threads on main praising it as SOTY. they're trying so hard for such a mediocre song, one of the worst BP's singles, slightly better as Ice Cream. Most of them usually have so much to say about other girl groups' songs (bland, boring, cringy rap, safe etc you name it) but they're eating this same thing up :pepe-joy:

    BP may have big debut streams bc they're BP but this song won't have longevity, just like Girls.

    YG said it's the most expensive mv ever in kpops history but why does it look so bad and outdated and some of the clothes as well and the song sounds a lil outdated too. and Rose is back...queen of cringe.

    The chours is awful and Rosé voice is more obnoxious than usual

    The song is not bad. I've heard worse like Sneakers, Girls & Sticker. But it's not good either 🤷‍♀️ Maybe it'll grown on me like Next Level but idk it's lacking that catchy chorus & powerful drop like BP's previous songs. Kinda disappointing cause I'm expecting more since it's been 2 years and YG hyped this up so much. The mv are beautiful so are the girls, but it feels like a jointed set of HYLT, DDD & KTL.

    It's coolbut I don't think this song will have longevity but I'm glad blackpink showed some artistic growth in the song and didn't stick with the same old D4 formula

    I totally understand why some people are tired of the formula always being the same (i wasn't a big fan of HYLT) and was scared for this comeback but i honestly love it. Sure it's nothing revolutionnary but i really enjoy it

    I loved Jennie and Lisa. Lisa's second rap part got a bit cringe (what 'life of a vandal' Lisa, you're a private school kid of a celebrity chef multi millionaire who wouldn't say boo to a goose and the sneer you put on a couple times in each mv is fooling nobody), but that said I don't really mind kpop rap cheesiness. If the Tomboy rap grew on me anything can. I liked her Rihanna homage look, very fresh. Jennie was flawless, I understand why her fans are always demanding raps for her. Her rapping is sooo much better than her singing.


    Rose and Jisoo did the same thing they always do and it's boring now. Their vocals have become the part you have to sit through to get to the good stuff. Their vocals reminded me at times of their vocals in DDDD, HYLT, Lovesick Girls, Kill This Love. So samey. Even the sets YG bragged about look so similar. Blackpink badly need new blood in their creative team, and Teddy needs to pay attention to the vocalists.


    The fashions killed as always. The chorus felt kind of empty but it grew on me after a few listens. I think tiktokers will love it.


    As a pre-release "Here the fuck we come" bugle song it delivers. But for the love of God can Jisoo and Rose get to do something different?

    I really like the rap parts from Lisa and Jennie, whoever wrote it and direct them how to rap, it was good. The song probably won't be on my playlist. Although Im looking forward to their album, maybe the B-sides are better.


    The song is very BlackPink, and that's fine, it's their formula. YGe at the end of the day is a business, so they got to put out what customer demands and what sells. The song is for the fans and as long as fans likes it, it should be fine. However as a casual listener, just once, I just wish they focus more on music instead. I'd love to hear more from Jisoo and Rose. Rose got a distinct voice, I always recognize her. Instead of just having Jisoo and Rose as a vocal supporting the song until it drops the beat or to the climax, have them have real lines. I wish they explore more on the musical spectrum than their what they currently have, maybe challenge themselves, it's been 7 years. I'd like to see members writing their own lines and songs, or try out producing/directing.


    Not very fond of the MV. It reminds me of the last 30 seconds of Lalalisa because they kept changing every few scenes, makes me kinda dizzy lol. The girls looks great, shame I can't really see it unless it is paused -for some scenes-.

    I checked the lyrics ahead.. yet to listen to the song or see the MV.


    But the lyrics - utter garbage. Yes I know BP's style has been to fill the music with some onomatopoetic words.. but still.. it is as much a rubbish with words as BTS' Dynamite.


    So a good possibility that it will be a hit.


    But then I am tiny minority who looks at lyrics, when majority limit their lyric appreciation at best to the chorus.
