mhhh now i could be wrongg or like idk but what ive seen a lot in kdramas is- They will have the main character the girl, she is usually poor or is in need, and then youll have the boy, he is usually hot, rich, and nice, (sometimes rude idk, depends on the character) and basically the whole kdrama is that, male comes in to save girl, idk, i feel like i couldve explained this better but idk how to explain that well, but ive seen this happen a lot in kndramas

it seems that none of you watched new dramas. flower of evil, it's okay to not be okay, mr queen, the world of the married, etc don't have such plots. it seems that kdrama world has moved on from such stories but cdramas have not, most of them fit your description or at least the modern ones
What? none of the hit Cdrama from 2019 and 2020 is like that...

Why can't the girls ever be successful or find their own way out of poverty in these kdramas? They're teaching dependence to young audiences of primarily girls. It annoys tf out of me.
You have Boss and me where the girls at the end success alone. It was such amazing character development for 2 of them.
There is 1 japanese old drama where the girl is rich, boy poor.
Idk about others. xDD I hope that there is more...
