How I think 4TH GEN GG will fare out

    ok hear me out i just had this thought and it works


    for the top groups in each gen (not counting first since i know zero about them) there was a pattern of :

    1) no.1 gg, 2) its rival (debatable no.1 gg because of SEA/West dominance), 3)the solid 3 gg, and then the rest switching no.4: the gg who's only good in digitals, the GG who has a big fanbase but not always delivering a hit, the late bloomer consistent gg


    *Strictly about the high of each gen and in Korea, because patterns do fall after 5 so years of activation, and Western fame does not seem to have a pattern line korea..


    2nd gen : SNSD --> 2NE1 --> Wonder Girls --> SISTAR, F(x), APINK


    3rd gen : TWICE --> BlackPink --> Red Velvet --> Mamamoo, G-friend , OMG


    And so my guess for 4th gen:

    4th gen: NewJeans --> aespa --> I'VE --> LeSserafim, NMIXX / ITZY, STAYC / GIDLE


    4th gen does have some very competitive ggs, most than any gen I saw tbh.

    Wonder girls had a bigger peak than 2ne1 in Korea, less longevity but their peak is much better

    Still think aespa Holds the peak for 4th gen in sk, even though I’ve, gidle and new jeans getting huge hits I’m not seeing sk go Gaga over then like they were with aespa

    NJ has potentiall peaked, their next comeback will do amazing numbers, but if its not on the level of current, they end up with aespa with girls, gonna take 2 cbs to find out

    aespa are #1 NGG korea and media already decided not akp stans

    We are yet to see if Newjeans can have longevity on charts and how their comeback will be. Its too early to tell. Huge debut means nothing if you peak at debut, just look at Itzy and how people still consider Nmixx competition after the flop that o.o was. Aespa also had a flop debut just to get the biggest song in the 1st cb. Speaking of aespa, they are only ahead in sales and only Next Level and Savage did well on charts (maybe Illusion too). They aren't consistent, and even internationally there's other ggs ahead of them.


    The most consistent gg right now is Ive as they had a massive debut both in Korea and internationally and LD cb was even bigger and they doubled the album sales and sell like hot cakes even with a single. If AL end up being strong as LD, they will be the most consistent gg without a doubt.


    Huge debut means nothing if you're gonna peak at debut. Most groups from big4 have huge debut but not many can keep the hype.
