I think that 4th gen producers realized that kpop groups are probably expected to sing live or at least someone will do an MR remove of the performances and so it would be better to just have the idols sing within their normal range, so NewJeans is just singing within their range whereas like….. Aespa has to strain because SM wants to push the power vocal more.
