She has a lot of star power. You get drawn to her in their performances and music videos. Her rap is good. She had some killing parts in the songs. She's sweet and funny and beautiful. And she's an incredible dancer.

Remember when BP debuted and everyone who reacted to the Boombayah MV was drawn to her? When she said "Brrrr Rambo" I felt it.

Representation being a big factor is only cool to a certain point... there were sea idols before and after her and not everyone has the representation clicking for them...

When I first saw Lisa in boombayah I didn't even noticed she looked different than the others or what country she was from... I was simply like " omggggggg who is she"... She got me and a lot of people into kpop singlehandedly. Lisa just pops off of the screen in a lot of blackpink mvs... Blackpink music and vibe also helps BP members stardom. I absolutely love rapper and dancer Lisa and u can genuinely see how well she carries herself professionally.

Her offscreen persona even though totally different to her onscreen bad ass persona just make her so unique... she has this bright positive vibe about her that grounds her superstar persona...She has that Star quality but also feels approachable.

Charisma. She was the first in BP that caught my eye. All four of them just have IT

As somebody from the UK, I never followed Kpop until Miss Jennie Kim mentioned Dua Lipa's New Rules back in 2018. I checked out D4 and the girl with the katana caught my eye, watched more mvs and her performances in Whistle and Boombayah blew me away.

Antis can keep shouting SEA representation, but truth is she's a charismatic performer. She knows how to control the stage and dominates it. She has the IT factor that very few people have and that is why she has so many fans all around the world.

Standout mesmerizing looks, check.

Deadly eye-catching stage presence, check.

Fun, quirky, & funny personality, check.

Earwormy hit after hit rap skills, check.

Lovely vocals, check.

International appeal and good English skills, check.

She speaks English fluently. She recieves support from Thai fans who see her as an inspiration or someone who represents them. She's attractive not only looks-wise but presence-wise, she just draws you in when she's on stage; you can inmeditely tell she's talented by one stage or one MV. Off stage she's bubbly and sweet which makes her more relatable as a casual fan, so she's also biased a lot

She has tons of star power. Very good performer too. She has a presence which u just can't miss. She has IT!

SEAs aren't a monolith and no she doesn't look western, and westerners definitely don't see her as a representation. I never see this kind of reasoning somehow for east asian idols who are very popular internationally

unique visuals, people like her rapping, insane charisma, amazing dancer and performer, wonderful personality. What's not to like?

I feel like out of all the members she fits the Girl crush concept the most.

Her raps and dancing skills make her stand out alot even when performing with a stage full of talented dancers she still stands out.

Her being foreign and fluent in English definitely helped as well but not as much as people would like to think.
