BP on the other hand felt quite safe in comparison, and it looked more like a victory lap performance so it didn’t resonate as much emotionally. They also played on a smaller stage than aespa so maybe it didn’t give them the same need to prove themselves. I also thought they got overpowered by their (excellent) live band a lot. That said, I like their songs more individually.
Just my 2 cents.
Love the way you're trying to spin this. Aespa would not have got to play the Sahara. They were on main stage as guests. Of course you're not a MY lol

Bp was better but at the end of the day neither was actually that great. Blinks make it seem like they put on a performance that was above and beyond what we see in kpop but compared to many other ggs it was average.

“Blinks make it seem like” no they literally went viral OUTSIDE of kpop stan twitter for how good they were: “ponytail rapper”, “red haired girl”, rosie’s “as if it’s your last” and fancam, jennie’s d4 rap. Yall literally try to downplay a performance to say only fans hype it up when the perf literally made watchers into fans

And I would love to see links of gg performances that are similarly so good in kpop if it is what you claim as “average”. I can think of Itzy, 2ne1, and MMM of having 1 to 2 comparable gems each and even then I would argue BP brought their own unique energy that made the performance so impressive, and yes, legendary. It will be for the books whether yall like it or not
