Maybe because success on TikTok can directly affect how a song charts. Same with YouTube.

Instagram only really affects individual popularity and promotions. Not everyone has one too. I think Instagram will come into play more in the next generation. It took forever for most 3rd gen idols to even get Instagram, so I think if 4th gen starts giving individual social media accounts earlier like LSFM it will be used more.

I don't think group accounts will ever really matter as much. Just like people don't bring up a groups Twitter followers that much.
