No Big 4 groups are ever a threat to each other. The more "competition" they have against each other, the more they all win. Their fandoms will keep trying to outdo each other when it comes to streaming and buying, so the numbers rise for both groups.
The real competition is Big 4 vs. everybody else. All the other companies are trying to get that fifth spot to reap the benefits of being part of the Big 5.
If smaller companies are smart, just like Starship, they'll let their groups have comebacks or debuts whenever a Big 4 company has one. That way, they'll ride the hype and benefit from the buzz. Starship has been making smart moves with IVE by letting them come back during BIGBANG's "Still Life" fiasco and now the August "bloodbath."
