How? Big Bang has the second most votes and people were even voting for the non-SM boy groups that are logically and honestly not the answer. Even the comments are filled with people asking him to add a non-SM boy group Seventeen. There's no SM bias here. It's just that Big Bang and EXO are the competing answers for 2nd biggest all time while NCT and Seventeen are the competing answers for the 2nd biggest currently.

Seeing how BB currently have 16 votes and EXO have 15 votes, does this mean OP thinks this proves YG stans and SM stans dominate AKP?
(wait, what?)But seriously, Big Bang and EXO make the most sense since they both dominated k-pop for many years before BTS, in a way that the other boy groups aside from BTS just didn't.
NCT and Stray Kids make the most sense after those 2, especially since Seventeen are missing at the poll - which is weird, they should've been included on the poll too.
Fans have to have some hope. -

It's simple really, SM fans have been on this forum for years. They started as Super Junior, TVXQ and Girl's Generation fans. That is what started the whole nasty, fan wars vs other labels. As new generations have started, those same fans have pivoted to the next gen groups. That's what u see, that's why you'll see fans of 2nd gen groups voting, sharing their thoughts about current or 3rd gen groups.
The real problem is all the hatred they created with the fans wars have followed them as they switched groups. That is why SM stans bashed 3d gen YG an JYP groups and of course BTS, and now they're doing it to the same current gen groups with the addition to HYBE groups. The new SM stan fans are indoctrinated quickly into the mindset by the older SM stans. Just look at the main forum, you can see many examples of what I'm referring to.

Agree with everything you said. Would also add that SM has been building brand identity for decades now with things like SMTown etc. The old guard that tend to become AKP mods, Reddit mods were raised in the SM-dominated world and are very loyal even if they dont realise it
(although Reddit has such a clear JYP boner these days, which is because Twice fanbase demo = typical Redditors)
Non-SM fandoms tend to move towards spaces like twt where you're less likely to be moderated by an SM stan

It's interesting you mention the mods. Because in the former incarnation of the forum, most of the mods were former users who by all accounts were very problematic before they became mods. Sadly, many of the mods kept their cliques from when they were just users, so you had many users with carte blanche to say and do many questionable things.
Heck, even the former head mod (I say former because I don't know what he does, though I see his love of trolling has returned) of the current forum is an old SM stan, don't forget his old username is Ripiasuju lol
Not sure about reddit, twitter, so I'll take your word for it, this forum is enough exposure to kpop for me.
