Op Profit: 88.3B (⬆️215.3%)
Net Profit: 93B (⬆️359.3%)
Direct participation sales due to album releases and performances accounted for approx 64% of total sales at 325.9B. Of the direct participation revenue, sales in the album sector were the highest at 201.9B, up 226.2% from the previous quarter and 97.1% YOY.
HYBE Label artists sold 8.53 million albums in 2Q, accounting for 42% of the total album sales on the Circle Chart. If the field is narrowed to the top 4 Ent companies, this represents 63% market share.
Performance sector revenue was 85B. BTS LV concerts and SVT Seoul concerts are reflected in 2Q numbers. MD sales and licensing revenue was 98.8B spurred by world tour. &Audition, Japanese boy group, is expected to debut in 4Q. Hybe will debut new groups in 2023
Hive said, "This good performance is the result of the fact that BTS, the undisputed best artist, followed by Seventeen, Tomorrow by Together, and N-Hyphen, who grew up under the multi-label system, became top-notch artists." All of these artists have risen to the ranks of the million-seller artists who have sold more than 1 million albums, and have resumed performing activities with Endemic.
