And this is without US sales as US shipments start on 8th Aug of which Weverse US sales won't even be counted for Hanteo.

    620k already?!?!?! =O

  • That one Blink loser and another SM stan BTS anti who went around in threads claiming Armys dumped BTS looking like full fledged buffoons. They do not know or understand the stuff Armys are made out of.

Yeah. I saw those comments and posts I just don't engage with them. The opinions will vary but numbers don't lie. And BTS stats are still a wall to Kpop, so only a fool will believe their narratives.

  • Going to rise more in Aug when US sales get considered? We know Weverse US won't be considered by Hanteo but what about other stores?

I think GAON does count WeVerse US shop sales. Because see.... Majority of US ARMYs buy older albums from WeVerse US shop since they are easily available here more than local stores and when they are buying multiple albums at a time to cut shipping costs. And we do see BTS catalogue sales increasing every month. If WeVerse US shop sales weren't being counted for GAON then there wouldn't be this many catalogue sales. Because US are the 4th biggest BTS album buyers after Korea, Japan & China as far as we know.

So I think 'Jack In The Box' WeVerse US shop sales will get counted for GAON even though its not happening with Hanteo. But that was to be expected since we have known that Hanteo does not count all store sales. Hanteo has always been about sales from the shops that are affiliated to Hanteo. So there's nothing different. That's why we always see big differences in Hanteo and GAON numbers.

But still I'm not expecting huge jump in number for GAON Monthly update of August based on 'Proof' fuckup in June. But we should get idea of what he will sell in September update for sure.

It looks like he is going for 1m certification.

  • At first I also wasn't going to buy the album since it's a Weverse digital album and I've already got it on iTunes. But then after hearing Hobi talked about how much work he put into it and all that, I wanted to show my support and so I ordered one off the Weverse Global with the insane shipping cost since I was going to buy the cooking book and the Memories 2021 Blu-Ray etc. What we all should be mass emailing Weverse Global about is >>> combined shipping for different types of merchandise. I should have been able to combine Hobi's album, cookbook, and Blu-Ray into one instead of paying shipping 3x at that crazy price. But I made the choice since it's a present for myself for completing my work successfully + surviving surgery.

  • Looks like it's just a glitch. :-(

I was surprised. First time I had seen an album selling this much on a Saturday. I thought Weverse Shop was working overtime.

  • Oh it was a glitch but I hope the album sales will continue to rise after Hobiplalooza. Also, this:
