Don't Believe Everything You See On The Internet About Celebs Without Actual Proof

  • So, I just came across this case, it's about Ananya Panday and her University Admission controversy. For those of you who don't know, Ananya Panday is an Indian actress and she has been subjected to a lot of hate and trolling because she got into the bollywood(Indian film industry) through nepotism(her dad's a bollywood actor).

Though I agree with a lot of the criticism she has received, this controversy is one of the ones I am disgusted by and hope no one goes through.

Here's some background, around 2019 when Ananya Panday was making her debut in the industry an Instagram account named Anniee Pee claimed that she was a former classmate of Ananya Panday and that Ananya Panday lied about getting into USC and that she barely passed high school.

(University of Southern California, Ananya had said during that time she got into USC and was going to go there but decided to opt out of it for her career in bollywood)

They also claimed other things such as SRK(Shah Rukh Khan a famous Indian actor who is friends with Ananya's dad) funds all of Ananya's cars and vacations but this was the main one.

Anyway, basically this controversy caused a lot of hate for Ananya Panday and her family and later on Ananya publicly addressed the issue on an Instagram post

So why am I making this thread? To show people not to believe everything they see on the internet about celebs, when I was first reading about this controversy I too thought Ananya Panday was lying about getting admitted and the alleged classmate was telling the truth, turns out I was completely wrong.

Basically, be neutral to any case until proper proof comes out(and no, this thread does not have anything to do with the Min Heejin, garam case I just wanted to give a general message after reading about this today).

These cases are really unfortunately by the time the truth comes out the damage is done, Ananya Panday and her family got a lot of hate for this case and to this day a lot of people still believe Ananya Panday lied about getting admitted because the truth hasn't spread as much as the lies by the media.

I hope people take an example from this and stop jumping at accusations.

  • this is true the media spread a lot of misinformation a lot of times for clicks kind of what happened with JD and AH case but I don't want to get into it but yeah it's really hard to believe what you see, you really need to be very neutral and do your own research and then make your own conclusion and even then you don't really know the whole story.
