Without HYBE and Min heejin, the group will barely get notice even if they have good music.

Just like IVE, without Wonyoung, no matter how good their music is no one will notice them if no one "open the door" for them. Wonyoung open the door for them and both Eleven and Love Dive live up for it to get where they are now. Same with NewJeans. They have good music otherwise no matter how big hybe and mhj is, they aren't gonna help them.

I don't buy albums either. Even BTS 's. But was gifted a Butter album because I listen to it too much (till today) . Thank you kind soul

and fair enough, but thing is, buying esp bulk buying like kpop stans do, needs a lot more dedication than just streaming, hence my analogy

trust me I've always tried to focus on music first in kpop and there's so much good music out there that fans of big name companies wont even listen to cause they consider "flops" beneath them
