Thoughts on New Jeans after a couple of days

Attention is sooo good! The other songs not so much

The first time I listened to attention I thought the visuals were nice and I liked the Y2K concept and girls just hanging out and being friends theme, but the song itself wasn't really that good to me. I really couldn't stand the vocal processing when they sang the word "attention". But, fast forward a day later and the damn song is stuck in my head.

Then came HYPE boy which I liked right off the bat, I think the fact that I had to listen to it about 4 different time for each of the girls helped it get stuck in my head.

The biggest hurdle I had to overcome was learning the faces but I would say I am at about 80% with all of them. Some points I still get a little confused but I would say I know who is who decently well. My favorite members are Danielle and Haerin.

Where I am right now with them currently...

They have great music and concept that I love. Don’t think I’ll be stanning them but I will definitely follow their debut and comebacks. Their album would definitely be in my playlist with Lesserafim’s, IVE, RV and G-idle. 2022 for me has really great GG songs.

They might have all the talent in the world, but as somebody who could be old enough to be their own mother plus they're younger than my own daughter, I just can't stan. They are just very sweet young girls and if someone my age was following them there would be some eyebrows raised.

Cute girls, seem raw talent wise, vocals and dance seem very mid,

songs are chill bops, makes me wonder about the TT, cause could get boring fast af, if its like 4 songs that are all very similar
