We call it goulash, but the only connection to Hungarian goulash is the inclusion of paprika and beef. BUT IT IS SO GOOD

It's basically just spaghetti but made in one pot instead of sauce and pasta separately combined. And with macaroni elbows instead of spaghetti noodles.

I'm southeastern, but I've never heard anyone call this goulash

I grew up in the US for 20 years and I never head of this being called 'American Goulash' lol - maybe it became a thing after I left in 2006.
