Honestly the song is bad and it’s a song that you hear once and that’s it imo. It won’t age well. Savage is way way better.

Their songs don't resonate well with international fans. This is a terrible song they shouldn't have released right after a string of underwhelming songs. If they were a mid tier group they'd go straight back into nugudom

People acting surprised in here but YYJ as aespa main producers is a huge stumbling block for them to really breakthrough globally. All of these considered and aespa is really great they managed to entering Spotify global with unfriendly international song

Probably because those other groups aren't going around boasting about how they're overtaking BP and Twice. Also, even a non fan of this genre would consider this inorganic, artificial push that SM is doing cringy and reeking of manipulation.

Illusion would have done much better if it was main track. I dont know why but something about aespa's title tracks minus Next Level sound outdated even if the songs aren't bad.

Do all those groups with lower ML you mentioned have Coachella, Macy's Day, GMA Concert, US label, Time 100, and UN speech, too? If SM is going to go around everywhere with that Aespa global girl group narrative then they will be expected to back up that claim with their international numbers

Enhypen didn’t chart at all and they usually do good in Spotify charts. Now that is a real flop.
