You're definitely not the one, I've seen a lot of people who said they feel like this.
I think lumpens' strong point is their use of colors and ability to convey melancholic/bittersweet vibes, but their directing has gotten messier and messier over the years. And some of the songs they get these days are just not that suited for their style.

that's what ive been saying but company shooters always come to their defense
they had their peak with spring day/blood sweet and tears mvs but now they're outdated and running out of fresh ideas. now every new mv is a remake of their previous ones, don't ask me why enhypen's new mv reminds me of not today lol. their use of cg/greenscreen is really amateur and looks cheap af. they also often use some old ugly orange/yellow filters that make the mvs look old-fashioned and low-quality. let's not even talk about the cut scenes in almost every mv that break the flow and reduce the playability of the mv.
hybe need to hire new art and mv directors if they want to improve their mvs' quality.
this is why i'm over the moon that j-hope has started using a different director for More. you can see the improvement in the quality and imagery right away. it looks way more professional. i'm praying to god bts kiss lumpens goodbye and never look back. Before you bring up Daechwita, that was mostly Suga's ideas and he brought some guys that did historical kdrama to help as well. I believe he could do even better with a better director.
