Twice, Once a day #119 - "Shot Clock"

This is my second least favorite song in Eyes Wide Open album...it's not a bad song it's just...too jaunting for me. It also reminds me too much of Touchdown, Don't Call Me Again and Fanfare.

I didn't insult it, I meant that Shot Clock just reminds me too much of other songs and those songs are better. (except probably Don't Call Me Again)

I forget most of the Twice B-sides from then, so I won't speak on those, but Twice's title tracks have never missed back then. People must be losing their hearing!

I really like Believer. It reminds me of Say Something and really reminds me of a nostalgic city pop KPOP song. I like the post-chorus especially, it's a really good song. But Wenchi is also someone who hates BDZ so I wouldn't trust her on her music taste if I were you

That makes sense because like Touchdown and Fanfare, Shot Clock was specifically engineered for the concert setting as a march to pump up the crowds for lack of a better term. I'm not sure march is the actual word I wanted to use but they're essentially sports arena music.

Yep! That's exactly what I think. I think you did a pretty decent job in describing the style of these songs because I couldn't have done it any better for sure.

I just think when you compare this song with the other songs I mentioned, it shies in comparison. Or at least, imo.
