Nayeon used to be in the top tier of popular girl idols, but that's now many years ago, her personal top was around 2018-2019.
These days a lot of other idols populate the top tier of popularity, as seen in brand and search rankings.
This solo debut might give Nayeon's personal popularity a boost again, like it did with Somi, Rose, Chungha etc.

I don't know how JYP stans can stand JYP and the way he squanders his artists' potential all while sucking them dry for every penny they are worth. If Wonyoung had debuted under JYP, JYP would surely have had me vomiting blood on the daily. It's a wonder how Twice stans stayed so quiet about this for so long. Didn't even bother to send an angry truck demanding better treatment for Twice in front of JYP building.
