Yeah. Celebs who are usually never far from an airport are not the best people to speak on this, but they do have the most visible platforms. Anyway I see they're taking the angle that they want to "learn about climate change", not actually do anything about it. I hope we get kept up to date with their progress :-D

Why are people so cynical in this thread ? You all don't know how politics work.
Blackpink have a lot of infuence over young people ( especially in China, they have a huge fanbase ). Them rising awareness might raise up environemental concerns among the population, and once this issue is talked enough to be brought up to politicians, we might expect some changes and policies.
Saying 'They shouldn't talk about this because they are flying by plane' is honestly missing the point.
