Why do 4th gen fandoms mostly hide out in anons?

  • Specifically girl groups.

I swear I've never seen more than 1-2 IVE threads on the main forum, but here in anons Dives are busy fighting with MYs and other 4th gen gg stans or even blinks in that thread about WY's solo popularity rivaling BP members.

Aespa have a fandom on main, but Aespa threads hardly ever get more than a 100 responses whereas in anons MYs are finding the time to carry out 50 different fanwars and make a new thread every 5 minutes about Aespa surpassing some pre-order number

    Approved the thread.
  • Cause it’s trolls

The 4th gen groups fandoms you see here are just trolls using them to start stuff

  • 4th gen girl groups right now are the hot new thing so people always using them to downplay other girl groups (especially since Blackpink has not come back in a long time)

  • Cause their delusions (coming for bp and twice) can be easily called out on main forum. Here they are just that, delusions and wishful thinking

  • Aespa and ive are nobodies on main forum. Their threads don't even get replies from their own fans. Itzy comeback is happening was a news to me. I think this is happening because their fans in anons ult other groups so they don't want to show it on their main. They are just multi fans of aespa, I've, itzy and will come out in full force when their ults disband. Like you can see with moas. They were invisible all this while till last year when bts went on hiatus. Or stray kids. 4th gen fandoms consist of fans who ult other groups so they don't fully commit till their ults take a break.

TXT and Stray Kids have their own subforums with more than 100k posts. Have you thought that maybe their fans just prefer to be active there?

  • Skz is the biggest group here on anon but I rarely see their fans on main.

Guilds are just for akorn farming. These 100k posts are just for akorns. Tell admins to not give akorns for guild posts. You'll see who really prefers talking to their guild members and who is doing it for akorns.

  • TXT and SKZ stay in their guilds. I don’t blame them since everyone just shits on their groups in mains. Dives seems to be multis without a concentrated fandom. Mys pop up in threads all the time, but I don’t blame them for also being tired of people always shitting on their groups and they’re over talking about it. The other 4th Gen fandoms are small on akp.

I also think you’re overestimating the amount of overall users on this forum.

As a member of Stray Kids Guild, I can tell you we mostly chat than farm. Our Lounge thread for conversations has over 87k posts. And almost (if not all) active Stays here ult SKZ.

Chatting is a good excuse to farm akorns. That's why all guilds have significantly more posts in chatroom thread than other threads in the guild. The fandoms which are actually big on this forum like armys, onces, blinks have balance of both. Bts, bp, twice also get enough responses on the main forum. Their guilds are amongst the last in guild rankings. Because they are not using guilds to farm akorns.

I said that stray kids and txt fans are getting more active on main forum. I also gave the reason why.

ARMY, ONCE and BLINK bigger fandoms here, that's why they have a big distribution of users who like to be in Guilds and main and who like to be only in the main, so a lot of them will end up not being close to each other or have a lot of small cliques. While STAYs (and from what I can see, MOAs) are a smaller number of people who are almost all close to each other and just prefer to be in the same space as their friends most of their active time on the forum chatting.

About conversations for akorns, this literally can be said about any section of the forum. People don't post on main just because they want to talk about their faves, but because they want to be rewarded. That's why akorn weekend stuff is a success and motivate people to create more discussion threads and participate. If organic conversations are for farming, than anything here can be.

I don't know about being more or less active on main, tbh. It seems to me it was always like that for Stays.

What are you talking about?? Sorry but you're making no sense…

I'm also in the skz guild like 599, and guess what, I genuinely like the people there and talking with them. If I truly just wanted to farm akorns, I would write lexicons, or participate in games, or make countless brief answering anons threads, etc. Conversations are not efficient.

There is no reason for us to post everything—other than the usual achievement threads, or threads that could interest non-fans—in the main forum, when we can talk more comfortably in the guild. There are many things that are just more ideal to post in the guild—what shall I do, make a thread every time (this is just a lighthearted example) Lee Know slaps a member's butt until skz antis decide to show themselves under "Lee Know slapping [insert member]'s butt for the 534537325th time", or shall I post a tweet with the video in the guild with the laughing raccoon emote and be done with it? What makes more sense, updating a thread exclusively to collect skz fanart—something pretty niche in the context of the entire forum—in the main forum and pissing off people with what they perceive as cluttering, or doing the same in the guild where it's hidden from those who don't care, but available for us to see?

There is another aspect to this, which is that most active stays are either official guild members, come to the guild to talk about skz, or talk about them under threads in main the guild members make. I don't think there are that many other users on the forum who are both active on akp and active in the fandom. This is something that's not necessarily the case for the less active guilds you listed.

  • no time to read your long ass paras cuz I know there's nothing to learn there for me. Let's make it clear though. I didn't even bring up guild topic. I just answered the op question why 4th gen fandoms hide in anons. Your fellow 4th gen fanatic brought the guilds. I don't care if you use guilds or anons, no one cares because no one checks guilds other than those particular fandoms. I'm just telling why 4th gen fandoms are invisible in k-pop section.

If someone sees 100k posts in guilds and not even 100 posts in k-pop section it is not wrong to assume they are doing it for akorns. This forum has gotten akorn addicted ever since they introduced that system. Everyone is finding ways to get as many akorns as possible so it is not wrong assumption.

What I got from this is that stray kids fandom is so sensitive. There is nothing remotely negative being said about stray kids or their fandom specifically but you guys are writing paragraphs, making threads, tagging people over this small thing. Other fandoms who use guilds lot more than k-pop section could also take the offense because my statements were general atleast to 4th gen fandoms and not specific to stray kids but no you bg fans have to take offense over nothing.

you'll surely have many smart things to say about a topic you don't know anything personally if you don't even accept actual insight

no one cares because no one checks guilds other than those particular fandoms.

    this…is their purpose :sweatr:

You wouldn't need your wildly inaccurate assumptions if you listened to people, though…?

We were trying to help you understand. In good faith.

Is it not specific to specifically mention skz? :pepewhat:

Look, I assumed you were genuinely confused about something, that's why I wrote my explanation. But it looks like you're just bitter about something.

  • let me see if I get an akorn from posting here

    test

I didn't quote you to say anything bad to you. I just quoted you to present another point of view of why certain fandoms are not active on main and It not exactly has to do with they ult a group and don't promoting other in main, since, like you said, people have no obbligation to check out Guilds and see what people do that or why they are there, but as someone who is active in one, I said how the one I'm in works. And you started making a lot of assumptions and accusations.
