My thoughts about BTS beginning official solo activities

I saw this tweet and it has me thinking

Usually when other idols start individual work, it feels like they like to separate themselves from the group entity and identity( nothing wrong with this) but BTS members still associate doing individual activities, gaining personal growth & experience as an extension of the group’s growth and life line.

Someone said when you think of BTS as a tree and the members as the roots, the roots have to be really strong for the tree to last. That’s why I believe it is very important for the members to be strong individually.

They need to have personal goals, personal fulfilment by shining with their individual selves.

7 members must have in store of many interesting and amazing activities. It is hard to predict if all of them will be equally successful but as a fan of all of them regardless of how it is received by the fandom or the public, I am here to fully take it in and I hope they get the full satisfaction of exploring their personal sides.

What you wrote on them creating sturdy roots so the BTS tree can proceed to live on and grow is incredibly comforting to me.

tbh, i was waiting for them to set the tone for their solo activities to gauge whether they want to associate with their group identity but i think it was silly of me lol

because of course they would, that's what they implied for the whole bangtan dinner and that's always been their thing hehe

I think it’s natural and kind of healthy to express oneself in more than one faucet, so even if the members want to do that, I think it’s okay. But what I firmly believe is, the experience they gain from that will positively affect the synergy the team has.

Personally I think it's a good thing and was bound to happen eventually. It's an opportunity for all the member's to showcase their individual talents. I'm looking forward to what's in store.

Yes, they wanted to do it after MOTS 7 but unfortunately due to circumstances it has been pushed back for couple of years. And tbh I feel now is also a perfect timing for them to do it.

inaccurate translations, false provocative statements spread by K media and intl media to believe that they were disbanding caused a toll on armys. p.s BTS will also take a break from group music activities for the time being so that has reasonably many in their feels
