I always wonder why Somi is considered funny

The way she carries herself comes off as kinda cringy and try-hard-ish, in my opinion.

It makes me wonder how many people eat up her variety skills when it appears inauthentic from my point of view

She's not some crackerjack comedian that's gonna have you crying tears of laughter. She's just entertaining and enjoyable to watch, even including whatever cringe moments she has. Whether it's an act or it's real, does it really matter?

I don't think Somi is considered funny. However she's spontaneous and lively so it's entertaining to watch her.

Even if you think she's cringe and try-hard, that is still much more entertaining to watch than someone who's all shy and quiet and doesn't have anything to say.

She's bubbly and brings good energy, has good chemistry with almost all hosts and actually tries on variety shows. You can see this when she's invited on shows with veteran comedians/entertainers like GYM Jong-kook, Lee Yong-jin, etc.

It's alot better than how boring and stiff most idols are nowadays. Look at how scripted and awkward AESPA or LSRFM were on Knowing Bros. They literally got the lowest ratings of the year for when they made appearances on it.

Her personality is bright charming and she entertains people. She is not claiming to be a comedian.

I'd rather an idol tries on variety show, than not. Even better if that's not her forte, because then she's actually doing her job, trying to entertain us. Mijoo, Yuqi, and Kwon Eunbi as of late, they're not comedians, but they tried hard on what they do. I think she's doing fine.

It reminds me of actress Lee Da Hee on runningman. She's so classy, gorgeous in films and dramas, but she's so silly and derpy on runningman and I love it. Kang Hana too.

Shd was fun yo watch in sixteen she has changed alot now it looks forced.

I don't watch much of her variety show guestings but so far, she doesn't come off as try-hard to me.
