For some reason, there is now a US-based competition show for 4th gen kpop groups. Don't question it. And for some reason, it also manages to gain a lot of traction among people in the US—not just kpop fans. In fact it's going to be many viewers' first serious exposition to kpop. Again, don't question it...
So, the competing groups are:
BG: Stray Kids, TXT, Ateez, Enhypen, Treasure, The Boyz + whoever you want to add!
GG: Aespa, Itzy, (G)I-DLE, STAYC, IVE, Lesserafim + whoever you want to add!
Groups perform in a huge stadium (do. not. question. it.) and the show is also broadcasted on TV and Youtube. (Assume the camerawork is stellar and doesn't get in the way of viewers' enjoyment.)
The groups do the following on stage, in any order:
- Introduce themselves for 5 minutes.
- Perform for 40 minutes at most, 20 minutes at least.
- Talk about their music, what being an idol means to them, for 10 to 30 minutes.
- Variety segment which can involve anything from funny games to showing off skills; 10 to 30 minutes.
- Q&A session, 10 to 30 minutes.
Rules:
- Every group is introduced with a 2 minute long video before they come on stage. This can set the mood, be simple eye candy that shows the members' visuals, something more meaningful, etc.
- Only singing live (low backtrack is allowed) and lipsyncing to the studio track are allowed; LAR is not. (Therefore the viewers won't get confused whether a group is singing live or not.)
- Groups are provided with translators for all talking segments (but they can also translate themselves).
- The viewers are provided with accurate translations of the lyrics.
- Props are allowed, up to 10 backup dancers are allowed.
- Since the event is sponsored by Kraft Foods, every group must show a bowl of Kraft Mac and Cheese at least once while onstage.
- Max. two sitting/standing stages per group, max. one dance break longer than a minute per group. Neither are required.
- Bringing other celebrities on stage is not allowed. Any other living being is allowed.
Voting happens via text messages, after the last performance ends. To vote, a US phone number is needed. One vote per person is counted.
There are three winning categories:
- Most voted GG
- Most voted BG
- Overall most voted
The question is simple and predictable:

Please elaborate why.
Serious answers and batshit crazy scenarios are both allowed.
Thank you for your attention.
Notice: Beware of the moose with the pink hat which escaped the stadium. Our experts are working on capturing it.
Just remember they're allergic to Febreze!
