For 3 years, BTS claims the #2 position in the best selling album of the world chart.

For 2018, Love Yourself Tear and LY Answer were #2 and #3.

For 2019, Map of the soul: Persona was #2. It lost to Billie Eilish in United World Chart, and to Arashi in the IFPI chart.

I have explained that these failures occurred because Hitman Bang tried to prop up txt and made it have two comebacks.

This year, there appears to be no dispute about MOTS: 7 is the top selling album of the world, since it sold more than 6,000,000 copies.

However, a surprising thing occurred ; the runner up for 2020 is BTS' BE, selling more than 3,300,000 copies, outselling Harry Styles, the highest ranked non-KPop singer in the list.

this list is strange and it includes digital sales, which is converted into some way, but since the digitals of KPop acts outside of Korea are not important, I will not consider it into this list.
