All I've got to say is STAYC is great. They're very entertaining onstage and they really know how to hype up the crowd. They clearly love what they do and they have fun with it. That's always amazing to see.

Is StayC the only group whose image fits with “nation’s girl group”?

I see comments that nation’s girl group has to have success and a friendly, wholesome vibes. Stayc is successful, they are full Koreans, their music/image is not dark or intense, Koreans like their visuals and their skills. With a hit song, will StayC become nation’s girl group?

I see why you'd think that's questionable, but I think they're speaking in the context of Koreans preferring a group that's fully Korean. "Nation's girl group" after all.

As unfavorable as it may be, every country tends to have a preference for its own people first and foremost because nationalistic pride is something that exists all over the world.

I don't have much of an opinion on this. Just saying OP probably thinks it matters for the "Korean GP." All I've got to say is I see two perspectives to it:

1. Koreans are not a monolith. Different Koreans prefer different things. Some are not as nationalistic as others.

2. South Korea is a very nationalistic country and society.

There's no right or wrong. They're just two different perspectives, and people usually go in circles bringing up different metrics for debate. I don't care too much about that. I'm just here to say STAYC is a group with great music and stage presence.
