Have you watched Stranger Things S4 v1?

Yes, I was going to be disappointed with a very rushed conclusion, but then I found out it's only the first half. So it set up the second half very well.
My only problem was:
I felt Hopper's storyline didn't bring anything to the story. So, unless there's a big payoff for that in V2, then it feels like wasted screentime.

Isn't there like only 2 episodes left, the last one seems to almost 2 hours long
Hopper was my favorite character so i am glad he is saved and met Joyce. Its just for me Jonathan, Mike & Will have so little screentime and most of their moments are really boring, Hawkins squad stole the show, and it feels like they are pushing Nancy & Steve now. If they end up together idk how I feel tbh. I am not fully against it but it feels weird cus they like broke up ages ago and Nancy chose Jonathan.

I haven't looked for any details on V2 in July. I don't know how many episodes or their length.
I just watched the 7 episodes of V1, thinking that's all it was going to be.
I also called the "plot twist" with the orderly way too early. It was pretty obvious imo.

That's still plenty of time for a good wrap up of the story. Especially if they're very long episodes.

Agree tbh. As much as I love his character and him with Joyce, if this was going to be the result, I feel like they should have just killed him for real. Maybe then the show would feel like it actually has real stakes (the only time I got truly worried was for Max, but I should have known they didn't have the balls to do it. Plus, she was also seen in the trailer exploring the house with the gang as well). The time they wasted to include that storyline with Hopper could have been spent on Mike, Will, and Jonathan. Also, if Hopper was really dead, it would have made that bullying scene with El presenting her project to her class even more emotional since we would know he was actually dead.

If he hits the gym he would really be unstoppable.

Also Lucas and Max are THE couple idc their scenes were so good and I love them
But I need more Will I hope that group gets more screen time lol

ok so:
when i watched stranger things for the first time i was in like 7th grade, and so i watched about three episodes, and i remember i got to the third episode and then there were these two characters getting down and dirty(if im remembering correctly) and 7th grade me was like not here for it, and i haven't watched the show since. nothing against people who like it- i just can't put myself through that and be fine.
