Did Hybe not focusing on raps for their current 4th gen groups make you confused?

Considering Bts is known for their strong rap line, Txt/Enhypen/Le sserafim are more focused on vocal skills, their songs have a few seconds of rap. Is this a mistake on Hybe’s part, considering how hiphop/rap focused 4th gen seem to be?

Neither rap nor vocal talent are a priority for Hybe. Training them is also secondary. They can get what they want without scouting impressive talents.

But is it really? I don't think it's overall considerably more hip-hop focused than previous gens.

The only outstanding 4th gen group hip-hop/rap focused I have in mind is Stray Kids. Am I missing something?

People saying they’re not focused on vocals? It’s obvious that they mean that all they do is sing and not rap so don’t make more out of it than what is meant

hybe is more performance focused if anything. Vocal is subpar, rap is meh

as if anyone from kpop have extra ordinary voices. They are just all above average at best in general. Nobody loves kpop cuz they are great singers. Being able to sing is more than enough, good discography& performance are mostly about it then u add charm in the equation to separate the best from the crowd , it’s what being idol is all about. Old kpoppies must accept the fact that no one thinks kpop or talent is all about vocals. That’s why being an idol is different from being just a singer.

hybe focus on visuals more nowadays. talents is second and it goes by this order: visuals -> stage presence -> dancing -> singing -> rapping

vocal skills? weren't the 3 groups you mentioned heavily autotuned?

not every group has to rap but 4th gen hybe groups don't have a good rapper in their groups too begin with so no need to.
