Same reason we don't see people hyping up 2nd-gen groups anymore. It's specifically 4th gen because it's 2022. Just wait until next year or the year after and you'll see the cycle repeat with 5th gen.

Also, people got short attention spans, so they want the newest and latest thing. That's essentially what hype is all about.

The thing is though they low,eh have ALL the hype for ggs these days,

You won’t see people hyping up a 3rd gen gg like they will 4th gen

Why is this happening, most girl groups are killing it regardless of gen
