I feel like there is a new trend of agencies not confirming the dating scandals of the artists, like JYP with chaeyoung, yg(actl since always)... isn't this great for idols? like they can date freely without prejudices now if such news are treated this way and fans will know their boundaries as well. I hope if my bias gets into a dating "scandal" the agency responds the same way by saying " we cannot confirm artists private matters"

If they did this for all the dating news, definitely.
It looks sketchy when a company that normally denies groundless rumors suddenly says "we can't say because we respect their privacy" for only one case.
Not speaking on this in particular however
oh maybe it depends on the celeb involved. if they want to confirm it, i guess they will reveal it to the public. if the celeb doesn't want to, then they say we respect their privacy,

Honestly which celeb would want a baggage of something that is not true to be related and associated with them everywhere they go?
