Not all, because each country can have pretty and not so pretty people

Second of all, the guy mostly talked to people in the video who wore masks so it's kinda hard to tell how their entire faces look like

Also if I look at the music-artists from Japan that I listen to, there seem to be quit a few who don't look that good and where at the end mostly only chosen in their companies cause they can song and/or dance

Here are some examples of artists who arn't 'that pretty':

So yeah, each country has their pretty and not so pretty people, even Japapn does. Would be weird tho if Japan was only full of good looking people tho
