Girls Planet 999

The voting is determined by fans: 50% from Korea and 50% international. Voting takes place on the Universe app.

The girls were placed into cells based on interests, however, after the first episode, they had the opportunity to select their own cells. The cells have one K member, one J member, and one C member. These cells determined who passed eliminations. In the first set of voting, fans could vote for cells as well as individual trainees. In the second set of voting, fans could vote for three trainees from each group. In the third round of voting, fans could vote for one trainee per group.

Demo Stages

The demo stages are the introduction to the girls fans get. The rankings in these demo stages were based on the theme song for the show.

Connect Mission

Three cells will be assigned one song in a mission meant to bring the 99 girls closer to K-pop itself. Two teams can choose one song and those teams will compete against each other. The masters will decide upon the winner and that winner will receive some sort of benefit in the competition. With the Connect Mission at its end, one of the five winning teams will have the opportunity to perform on MCountdown. Which of the five teams will receive the honor? The Yes or Yes winning team!

Combination Mission

The combination mission switches around the girls into new groups as the cells will be disbanded. In this mission, they will battle it out with other teams in the same number: 3, 6, or 9.
