No, confronting someone through social media is not something an adult in the real world does. It's teenager's logic. If you're an adult, if you're a grown ass person, you don't deal with personal matters in the public space. You don't use the social media as some kind of tribunal which can only add more injustice to the injustice.
If you have a problem with your wife/husband, you don't deal with it on twitter. If you have a problem with a coworker, you don't deal with it on instagram. What kind of nonsense is this. Are you all f'n 12?

well bullying is a thing everywhere but in places like SK and Japan seems to be more severe. There's lot of stories about it.
it's severe in South Korea because it's a very cutthroat environment. You got students studying 16-18 hrs/day preparing for the CSAT in hopes of getting into a good university. Bullying is how some people blow off stress.

(G)I-DLE Soojin’s school bullying… Agency “We are currently checking the facts”
Alleged victim A, who claimed that their younger sibling attended the same middle school as Soojin, revealed online that it was “time to release (G)I-DLE Soojin’s bullying”.
They stated that “all the people in the world needed to know” and that they are “sorry to all the other members of the group besides one person”, but they couldn’t ignore the pain their sibling received anymore.
After seeing this comment, (G)I-DLE fans demanded detailed disclosure on the situation. The alleged victim responded, “The school violence related to Soojin is not misleading and I am the witness and the evidence. My anger won’t wash away when I think about the people that don’t know what Soojin did during school”.
The alleged victim also posted an Instagram story with a photo who is believed to be the sibling who received the bullying. According to their claims, Soojin usually stole other people’s school uniforms and stole their money. They also claimed that she went around with older guys who rode motorcycles while drinking and smoking.
This is not the first time Soojin has been swept up in bullying rumors. One netizen previously posted a photo of Soojin’s middle school yearbook album photo and revealed, “Soojin smelled of cigarettes every day and would go around with older guys and drink alcohol. She would say she was dizzy from drinking and her attitude and behavior in disregarding people was a big shock to me.” They also stated that she would curse at her friends and would not return items after borrowing them. This post has since been deleted.
Regarding Soojin’s bullying accusations, CUBE Entertainment has stated, “We are aware of the controversy and currently checking the facts.”
