yep, dont ask me why. but I think its because the 'best korean act' belongs to the 'best international act' category and they made 'best kpop' a separate section because kpop is more relevant now.

its been like this even before they changed the award system and there was only 1 winner (I think it was 'best asian act' or sth like that. its been ages lol) the korean acts hardly won against china. I think big bang won the first award. if I remember correctly, back than the countries voted for the entries (like china for the chinese act, korean for the korean act ect) and the final nominees were voted by europeans/everyone. so I guess they kept the voting system.

the acts from each country are voted by the country. so best korean act can be voted for on the korean ema site only, best german act can be voted on the german ema site etc. ofc if you have the link you can vote for a diff country, so I also voted for aespa even though I`m german.

dont think so. they nominated bts in 'best kpop' which they won, so putting them in 'best korean act' too would have been iffy if you ask me (not sure about the difference though). to me the nominations each year seem really random.

Not many know her as she only had her debut in 2020, but I think she is a really talented individual we should talk about.

She writes and composes her own music and got kinda famous when she uploaded covers on youtube.

Her most known feature would probably be on TXT - "0X1=Lovesong (I Know I Love You).

I also think she has great vocals and also a great vocal tone.

Is anyone else knowing her?
