Multistans are usually foreigners who only buy albums. It basically ends there.
We go to concerts once a year if we are lucky. If 10 groups visit your country and have concerts, do you go to all 10 concerts because you are a multistan? No. You will probably go to 1 or 2 groups.
In Korea being a stan means you are hella fanatic. You go to all your idols events, concerts, fansigns ( that means you will have to purchase a crazy amount of at least 100 albums to have a chance of getting in),you own every single album, all their merch etc. Unless you are some crazy rich person you can't afford to treat more than 1 to 2 groups like this. That's why.
At the end of the day we are fans and not really stans. Of all the groups in mij sig I only own everything BTS related (all their albums and merch). That would make me a BTS stan and a fan for the rest of the groups. Being a real hardcore stan means pouring money into the group

Ateez, SKZ and Ikon. I never listened to The Boyz or SF9 so I don't know them at all. I know quite a lot BTOB songs but I have never followed any of their other content besides their music.
I personally think Ateez will win Kingdom because their stage presence, performance, dance and execution are INSANE. If I didn't know better I would think they are a group thats around for at least 5 years!
And I am very excited to see what Ikon and BTOB will come up with since their choreos are more relaxed. This is so exiting yaay!

I didn't know they were participating. Now I might check the show out
They don't have to serve hard choreographies like the other groups. They can simply serve a different kind of charm, take the focus away from dancing a little bit. It's not like all the GGs that participated in Queendome were dance-focused.
I am actually very new to the show. After some research apparently Kingdom doesn't have any eliminations. I reall thought this was something like Road To Kingdom. But if the format is the same as Queendom I definitely want Ikon to join!

I don't know how to feel about them joining that Kingdom show. The other groups are all 4th gen basically. Kingdom isn't anything like Heroes of Remix. The Boyz were basically doing flying, acrobatic, synchronized dancing etc. Yes, Ikon has the stage presence but can they do hard and clean choreo like the other 4th gen groups? I am not sure but I am open to a pleasant surprise. If they feel confident enough I hope they can work hard to make it happen.
