Honestly.....don't think about it too much and just vote for the ONE girl that you want the most in the group. At least that way you won't have any regrets in the end. If she ends up making it, then you're vote would have helped in making it happen. If she doesn't, then you can at least tell yourself that you tried.

1) HYBE/Soumu NGG: Because Sakura is a hard-working Queen and I want to see her rise, because Chaewon is an amazing all-rounder, and because Yunjin is the Dark Horse vocalist that's going to take the 4th Gen Main Vocal Queen position by storm in the future (not to mention the girl is just drop dead gorgeous)
2) HYBE's PLUS NGG: Because I'm probably gonna end up being a HYBE stan and this group is bound to have a ton of talent from their global auditions.
3) Starship's NGG: Just because of Wonyoung/Yujin. But I'm not a huge fan of Starship NGL.

Anybody else kinda realize that the JP trainees are screwed? The only thing I can see coming from this is people panic voting Shen Xiaoting in (and possibly kicking out Ruiqi as a consequence). But I don't think the same will happen for the JP trainees. Their panic voting will probably end up being inconsequential in the end.

The group is already basically going to be ignored in Korea. But with a line up like the interim rankings? The group will also end up flopping with the International fans, which is their only hope in being successful. And Mnet knows this well lol. Which is probably why they even bothered to release the full interim rankings in the first place.

I watched Produce 101 but didn't fully stan IOI just because they were temporary. I planned to do the same with Produce48 but ended up stanning IZ*One later on just because the girls were really likeable as a group (and to support Queen Sakura). But after all of the BS and cheating that Mnet went through, the way that they just unceremoniously threw away IZ*One without giving them an actual real Final Album, and the way that they're treating the International contestants in GP999? I can't get myself to give Mnet/CJ another hard-earned $. The girls of GP999 are nice enough and I'll watch their vids. But no way am I giving Mnet another dollar if I can help it.

If you're talking about popularity International-wise then maybe Shen Xiaoting. But if you're talking about an actual legitimate "It" girl in Korea (aka. somebody that starts showing up literally everywhere) then nobody. The show isn't popular enough and the temporary group will most likely be ignored by the Korean public during their run. And the only foreigner that possibly had a chance of being an "It" girl was Tzuyu but she lost her chance and momentum when JYP decided not to promote her as one

Wonyoung's visuals pop off and she definitely won the genetic lottery lol. But real talk: I wouldn't really use the word humble to describe the girl. I've been a Wiz*One for the last 3 years. From what I've seen, Wonyoung is smart and kind just like the rest of the IZ*One girls. But the girl is also very much focused on self-image and beauty. The most "princess like" out of the group. If you ask her if she thinks she's pretty, she'll confidently come out and tell you Yes without a second thought. That's pretty much the opposite of humble: the girl is too confident for that lol

btw I think WIZ*ONE's will kind of be now spread into My, Swith, Sumit, Plory, etc.
some will be multi-stans, and those who will be sad-sad, will probably get over it when JYPn debuts and become their fans because there will also be a group which will attract you, no matter how much you will try to defend yourself from it lol
Can't speak for other Wiz*Ones but I'm just waiting here patiently for Sakura/Chaewon's group. Then imma make it rain

Yeah it just doesn't seem like there were that many songs this year that are universally hyped/loved. Not that there weren't a bunch of pretty good songs released. Just that not many went above and beyond. Heck, the last song that I REALLY liked was Weeekly's After School, and that was all the way back in March.

Even if all of my favorites get through
I will not be supporting this Group, I am honestly now only watching out of Morbid Curiosity
Mnet tries to influence the Vote far too much, every episode every scene, It has worn me out
I am done with Mnet
It always makes me a little sad to realize that a bunch of these girls aren't even given a fair chance no matter how hard they try to appeal to the audience with their talents or charms. None of it matters if it's being edited out by Msnake to fit their narratives. It's a little sickening tbh

Not sure tbh. Both are around the same level with the same potential to me. It's just a matter of preference: cute vs sexy. I enjoyed both of them. Personally though, I'm really looking forward to see what Yena brings to the table. I think she's capable of blowing everyone's expectations out of the water.

She was the weakest in terms of dancing and singing anyways right?
I think she always wanted to do acting.
She is the Kim Sohye of this Produce group.
She was weak during Produce48 but that was because she was lacking confidence most of the time. She was actually pretty decent by the tail end of the show. I guess you could put her into the same "weak but hard-working" trope as Sohye but I think most people would automatically say Hyewon if you ask who is the "Sohye", or weakest, of the group (although Hyewon fits more the "weak but SUPER pretty" trope)

Actually, you might be right, i was kinda disappointed with Minju when i first heard the news but it's very possible that their agency doesnt want to lose their cash cow and it was their decision not hers.
Saying no to Hybe is like literally throwing away what 99.99% of other idols would KILL for. There are a thousand trainees toiling away in dozens of other nugu labels that would KILL to join Hybe's first GG. This is like Disney offering you the lead role in an MCU blockbuster, and you saying no, i'd rather buy some tix for Powerball and hope i'll win the lottery next week.
I just don't trust Urbanworks really. They lost like the majority of their actors back in late 2018 and I keep hearing how much they're screwing over Kriesha Chu. Minju might be their only real asset left so I don't trust their intentions one bit

Gonna be adding this to my playlist

Well she is pursuing what she wants so a win me thinks
I hope that's what she wants and not just what Urbanworks wants. Sounds like that article didn't even interview her directly but heard everything from some Urbanworks official. Oh well, it is what it is. I hope the best for her and that she reaches her dreams.
(Still not a win for me though since I only follow kpop music)
