I still dont get your argument. How does discovery mode that includes instant autoplay to any Eng version make their accomplishment less impressive? Are you arguing that this company found some hidden exploit in Spotify that allowed them to artificially inflate their Spotify streams, enough to get them on TTH which allowed them to get even greater exposure they otherwise wouldnt have gotten? Is this "discovery mode that includes instant autoplay to any Eng version" something that isnt available to every song in Spotify? Did the company have to do payola to get this feature?
My point is that their success isn't because they went viral on tiktok and that translated to spotify streams that gets counted for Hot 100. It's the other way around. And people are acting dense on purpose to call a spade a spade. Since I'm already the bad guy, I might as well take this hit and tell it like it is.

It's to give these girls a clutch so they won't be dragged. I do feel quite sad that this is what a nugu company has to do to get their groups out there when they most times they pump out awesome music more than the big 4. And Cupid is a cute bop that I truly wish it was a viral hit that some fan generated tik tok got it known. Because the girls are talented.

It is fairly simple and it has nothing to do with being viral on tik tok as we speak they have less that 75K videos using their sound.
It is more on their company using Spotify discovery mode that includes instant autoplay to any "Eng" version of kpop songs, kpop songs and English songs. Which is further proving these newly debut groups getting on HOT 100 no longer impressive. Especially in Fifty Fifty case because it's not translating to sales. And now they're on TTH playlist. Which increased their streams by almost 3 milllion from last week till now.
"Viral songs" usually range anywhere between 500 thousand + videos (En- Polaroid Love) - 2 million + videos ( Jungkook Dreamers)
One thing for sure is that their company is doing their best to break out of nugudom the fastest.
