You're young. Make the most of your time. You'll wonder where it all went eventually.
Go learn a new skill. Find a new hobby. Start planning for what comes after high school. So many things to do other than...this.
okay 😔🙂
HYBE has been cornering and over saturating that market since last April sadly

None of these Megathreads would be a thing, and MHDHH would have already released their first full album and be on a world tour right now, if BSH treated them like the Golden Goose they are and not the ugly duckling he obviously expected them to become.
I don't know why we type so many paragraphs trying to rationalize and over complicate something simple.
This a typical tale of an arrogant man with power thinking his "dog" is biting the hand that feeds it.
He loathed MHJ
rejecting all of his input for NewJeans (thank God), absolutely expected them to underperform and certainly not compare to the all-star group he put together, and then became enraged by her proof of concept in establishing the NewJeans brand being validated in the most emphatic way possible.
Man just couldn't take the L. So now we ALL take Ls as K-Pop fans.
tl;dr FUCK HYBE

we don't judge All Germans by the actions of one Hitler
we don't judge all football fans by the actions of soccer hooligans
and thus we don't (shouldn't???) judge all members of a fandom by the actions of a few

Display More[Focus on Y] Just Breathing Brings Controversy… ILLIT, Looking Back on a Stormy First Year
Every sprout grows into a tree while weathering the wind and rain. But the reality faced by rookie girl group ILLIT in their first year since debut cannot be explained by simple wind and rain. Ridicule and attacks poured down like hurricanes, like tsunamis. And yet, this sprout lowered its root amidst it all — a miracle in itself.
It's only been one year since their debut. ILLIT has shown that a debut itself can become a testing ground entangled with intense evaluations and reactions. Going beyond simple likes and dislikes, they were subjected to group ridicule and attacks from the very beginning — to the point that the term “cyberbullying” seemed appropriate.
Anti-fans captured the members’ speech patterns, facial expressions, and stage gestures one by one to turn them into memes and spread them online. On YouTube Shorts and social media, these clips were consumed as ridicule-inducing memes. ILLIT was treated not so much as a rookie girl group, but more as virtual characters or parody material.
The situation worsened after the management dispute between HYBE, ADOR, and CEO Min Hee-jin. When the issue surfaced, ILLIT was framed as a “project to replace NewJeans.”
Former CEO Min Hee-jin, in press conferences and interviews, claimed ILLIT’s concept was similar to NewJeans’, even using the word “plagiarism.” As a result, ILLIT was stamped with the brand as a “team copying New Jeans,” a “New Jeans imitator.”
After that, there was no holding back. When one member said, “I like kalguksu,” a past comment from a NewJeans member saying, “I don’t really know kalguksu,” was brought up, adding to the groundless controversy that ILLIT was taking a jab at NewJeans.
There was also the “ignore” incident, which escalated to the National Assembly and even the courts. NewJeans member Hanni claimed an ILLIT manager told to “ignore” (무시해) her and the controversy grew. Later-released CCTV footage showed ILLIT members bowing 90 degrees first, but the frame that had already been imposed did not easily lift. Who was right or wrong didn’t matter anymore. What had begun was a blind war of hatred.
The problem was that these attacks were cloaked as “justified criticism.” Mockery of appearances disguised as content reactions, malicious comparisons under the pretext of concept controversies, and stigmatization based on perceived similarities became emotionally charged and consumed destructively.
Nevertheless, ILLIT did not stop. They continued their activities not only in Korea but also in Japan, consistently releasing their own content. On March 25, to mark their first debut anniversary, they held a small concert with their fandom, GLLIT. They performed acoustic versions of “Magnetic,” and band versions of “Cherish (My Love)” and “Almond Chocolate,” engaging with fans.
Over the past year, ILLIT was cornered as if their very existence was the problem. Even so, they did not falter. They protected their team and endured the year. Amidst the storms that could not be forecasted, this sprout continues to grow strong as ever.
Man this is crazy ngl
(o.o) am (。♥‿♥。)
i think it's BTS
Nothing just surprised that you're lying with your eyes open
Did I said illit tho? I clearly wrote and talking about sublabels.
What's with people always thinking girls defenders talking about illit?
The silver lining, it can be used as additional prove in court that there are this sentiment between sublabels (shady comment, belift CEO video, illit official account follow NJ hate account) including source music leak. So, hanni accusations is not something that came out of nowhere. There is context. Will Ador has enough capacity to deal with sublabels constant shadiness when the CEO has conflict of interest both as Hybe reps and Ador reps ? I hope sejong monitor this stupid fanwar just to use it for their advantage.
*illit fans delete the tweet after someone pointing out this can be used as prove in court...The level of pettiness that person/fans hold 😒.
