Or they were just not invited by any year end award cuz they didn't had any outstanding performance in digital and their fandom isn't as big than BG or the other gg invited to bring more ratings to the show ?

I really don’t understand the pressure people are placing on Babymonster. They debuted only in April, yet some expect them to achieve the same level of success as BLACKPINK (which is ridiculous). What advantages do they have other than coming from YG, a company known for its controversial reputation (or druggie) and being outdated for countless times?
I actually feel really sorry for them. They have little interaction with other idols and it seems like they’re being watched by the company 24/7. Their activities are restricted on Weverse, they can’t do any challenges on TikTok, they weren’t allowed to attend any year-end awards and despite having the most subscribers among 5th gen groups on YouTube, they don’t even have any content there except dance practice (EWWWWW)
The way YG markets them is more like a boy group rather than making them feel approachable like a girl group. They’ve sold almost 1.8M albums this year and now people in that shitty company are expecting them to do a world tour in huge arenas, like the Kia Forum? For a girl group that debuted less than 8 months ago? Are they crazy? Is YG going to go bankrupt? Because what the fuck is this?
no wonder kiss of life is gaining more streams than them (on melon)
