Post the announcement then.
Here is Ador's official announcement with the date, which I could easily find in Twitter.External Content twitter.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. fyi the Paris concert is 4th June. So Ive could have released 13 May and promoted at the same time with NJ who are releasing May 24, but Ive is releasing 4 weeks earlier than NJ.

I voted BM as they are the most talented all round. I don't like their current title track though, and only listened to it 3 times.
-
I spot another company in the top 20 of the list in post #4, that recently gave one kpop company 100 billion won to "fund the company's future growth" and 14 months ago another kpop company 80 billion won for the same.
-
^ They smartly stepped off the gas, otherwise people will start asking questions that there are no good answers for.
-
It's hilarious how that Ive anti is nowhere to be seen after they said Ive was delaying comeback announcement to avoid other groups just for them to announce they'll cb in the same period today.. funniest thing
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think this statement clarifies many things.

NJs announced their release date first, 2 hrs after Illit got into Spotify Global 200. Then after NJs announcement, Ive announced their release date 4 weeks earlier than NJs. -
When a song gets more filtered streams than you would like on Spotify.
-
And the gg they’re doing better right now were pulling these numbers too until their last cb tanked on Spotify 💀 so yeah they’re dropping and next week they might be out of Spotify.
BM are doing better than Ive and Gidle, and by a lot. That 1 million peak streams that Gidle and Ive roughly got in their last comeback is unfiltered, so likely they are getting less than 750,000 filtered. BM is getting double that number of filtered streams.

Money can buy opportunity, but it doesn't guarantee results. And people aren't as susceptible to the overexposure approach as you think.
A bad song doesn't suddenly become good to someone, no matter how much you force them to listen to it.
O.O wasn't going to get PAKs in Korea, even if JYP liquidated their shares and poured all their capital into promoting the song endlessly.
Hype has a lot of money, but they're also putting together teams that have picked really good music, especially their girl groups.
At least in ADOR's case, when they met with the person they wanted to produce Get Up, her response to their inital interest was: "I don't really make songs that sound like what's prevalent in K-Pop", and their answer is "Great! That's exactly what we're looking for"
So it's not all about capital, even though capital is important.
But 200 to 300K UL "hypothetically" doesn't cost that much.
JYP, YG and Hybe just don't bother because they know that there is very little correlation between Korean chart success and global success.
-
Hybe groups can promote whenever they want to.
Illit and Txt both released April 1. BTS were releasing songs every 2nd week last year.
MJH is obsessed about song quality because that it is the point of difference for NJ's success. That is why they have a long hiatus, not because of Bang PD blocking comebacks. Case in point is she is only releasing a couples of songs and not a full album in the next couple months.

Seven has been out of TTH for almost two weeks and is still gaining more streams than Standing Next To You which is still on TTH. Playlists don't really impact streams as much as one thinks. There are SEVERAL examples like Billie Eilish Barbie OST being #1 on many top playlists on July 14 2023 (pl reach 104M) but debuting on Spotify Global with less than 4M streams(full day update).

You can search Twitter and see the next day impact TTH had on Super Shy, which was not that much.
People saying its payola are just bitter about others organic success in global charts.
-
Its called astoturfing. YG has started. How do you think BP got so big. Watch, enjoy and learn from the best.
-
For them they are trending, and you cannot trend forever.
They need to convert all the trend stans following them now into real fans, when they watch their content. I'm not a fan, and just checked out a bit of their content just to assess their long term prospects, and I can say they seem to have personalities, are fun and are not 100% fake. So it looks as if they will build up a fanbase fairly easily.
There are other 4th gen groups that were trending previously and they had their chance when they were trending, but were boring af. That's why certain groups that are boring af are declining now.

If hybe goes harder next comeback Illit could easily become #1 surpassing newjeans, their debut song alone is doing most numbers than the entire newjeans debut EP at least until hybe injected the today's top hits payola into newjeans debut. If Illit start selling millions next comeback they will become the top girl group and depending how hybe support newjeans from now they could be the ones fighting for #2 place in no time.
If ive next comeback underperform worse than baddie era #2 or #3 won't be the issue, they could easily drop below top 5.
Are they not already below top 5? See post #4 RE: Is Illit now bigger than IVE?
-
I've posted the peaks for recent songs, and all except NJ and Illit, peak at days 1 to 4. TTH don't want to add a song that will drop out of the top 200 quickly, because it devalues the prestige of the TTH playlist.
But now that they are holding steady at such high filtered streams, it is more probable that they may be added this coming Friday.
-
Because Korean charts are different. It is not like international charts where you know within 3 days if a song is successful or not.
In Korea, you can have a song with daily unique listeners (ULs) greater than the total times the song was played in Spotify worldwide.
-
Excluding BTS, you could say that Hybe has been playing chess to win the global market, while other companies with the exception of JYP and YG, have been playing checkers to just win the local Korean market. They just happened to be successful sooner than expected and in the tiny Korean market as well.
