The point is that's due to new songs.
When either group is also in an inactive period, their streams don't match up despite most groups like Twice having more songs.

New Jeans maybe having more MLs while they had a much more recent comeback is not impressive since BP hasn't released anything for several months. Actually if they are doing so well, they should have passed Blackpink's MLs by now since they are inactive currently. It's a surprise with the success of their songs that they haven't yet. Fans must be mass streaming hard on spotify.
If New Jeans can reach BP's peak ULs, then that would actually be impressive. I don't see them getting anywhere near that until they release a full album, and then maybe. BP would probably have increased their record by then though. -
bp doesn't pull high passive streams. Even twice was having more streams than bp before born pink. Clear indicator that their lack of songs is hurting bp.
Partially incorrect.
When Twice had regular comebacks, yes they had more streams compared to BP on a two year hiatus. But after a month or two or so each time Twice had a comeback, BP passed Twice again in streams. As you can see how BP has more streams so far this year when neither group has really released anything (Moonlight Sunrise, but that's just one song).
Amount of songs is hurting them, but BP does have more passive streams than any girl group. A month from now if New Jeans releases nothing, BP will still be doing around 8m streams a day and New Jeans will be doing much less than that. -

It's mainly streaming-equivalent units across their 6 songs, which is 160k units each, so it's actually not that impressive. Unless you are comparing to 4th gen girl groups only, then yes it is quite impressive.

They haven't flopped though. Their last two comebacks were successful and their music is better quality than a lot of other girl groups imo.
In Korea. I know some of their songs were hits in Japan and have been slowly doing a little better worldwide.
Their last handful of comebacks made no noise in Korea. Moonlight Sunrise barely managed to get a position at the bottom of the Gaon 200 in it's first week. Since the second half of 2019. -
I'd like to see a Twice comeback that doesn't flop. Been a long time. They should keep trying until something sticks.

Even if New Jeans breaks the record for days on USA spotify, they have yet to even chart one song in the overall US streaming chart (measuring all platforms), where blackpink has 8 songs, so it seems New Jeans stans are all on Spotify and heavily lacking on other platforms. They are no threat to blackpink unless they can remedy that and stream more on other US platforms too.

U just can't digest other grps can be successful too
The point is that no group besides BP has charted on the overall US streaming chart, but I feel that New Jeans and maybe Twice should have charted there by now considering their numbers. I don't know enough about their numbers outside of Spotify and Youtube though, so other people's opinions on the matter is welcomed to understand why. -

I love high notes in songs if they are placed well. The problem is that most groups struggle a lot with those notes outside of the studio. I worry for some idols it will become like a Mariah Carey situation where it sounds great in the recording but is always dodged or lipped in live performances and ultimately disappoints in concerts.

Your defending fans asking idols these type of questions? Okay.
And im not upset at anything, but i do know that ive seen the most vile stuff said about yeonjun and involving his sexuality.
Just like with that him and Yunjin dating thing, people couldnt actually believe he could actually have a girlfriend and be taken.
All i seen was comments about how he likes guys, and he dont even look at girls like that etc...and they was dead serious too.
Idk man, but fans need to stop making idols try to fit the agenda they want them to have
I think of all the things to ask, it’s a strange just, but the question itself didn’t assume anything nor even ask him about his own sexuality. I don’t support assuming anyone’s sexuality to be gay OR straight (or bi).
I did see an issue with you assuming his true feelings would be homophobic. Unless he has specifically said those kinds of things in the past.
I do agree that fangirls would never be able to accept their oppa being taken, whether it be by a girl, guy, whatever. It’s the same scenario as they being LGBT. Removes the fantasy of being together one day. My point from before.
-
Fangirls going crazy when no one even assumed his sexuality. The fear of their oppa potentially not being into them (under the implausible circumstance that it would ever be an option for them) drives them to jump to conclusions so fast.
Asking him how he feels about the community is a bit strange but nothing was assumed.
You are assuming he would have a negative opinion about the LGBT community though by your statement that he would be called homophobic if he stated “how he really felt”. You don’t even know his real opinion since he hasn’t said it. Lol

All people born female menstruate (except in cases where for whatever reason they can't), but not all women do.
Females - Biology
Women - Gender as a social construct.
It's not that hard. -
