What is the usual minimum streaming number to chart there?
Billboard doesn't say, just releases the chart positions. You can see artists' data(chart history) on their website.

Newjeans is doing well on Spotify US, not Apple Music(they haven’t charted once on the Apple Music realtime or daily US charts. You should have done more research to troll better)
I should have looked up Newjeans chart positions on Apple Music. A Newjeans stan on here was saying they charted there, so I just believed them. I did look at artist's billboard pages though.
If Newjeans is doing poorly on Apple music, then it's even more confusing why they are unable to get a single week on the overall streaming chart. Are they bombing that badly on all other services?
Will edit my post, thanks
New Jeans has been doing very well on Spotify USA, and Twice has improved their streaming a lot in English speaking countries the past couple of years, but on the Billboard Streaming Songs Chart, measuring all US-based streams, neither has a single chart entry. Why is this? Do those groups do very poorly on other streaming services? Are Billboard Hot 100 entries by those groups mostly fueled by downloads of fans? I feel like the two groups should have at least one song that could get a week in the top 50 most streamed songs in the U.S based on the numbers, but to my surprise they have yet to crack the chart.
For reference, Blackpink has 8 entries, most of them with multiple weeks.

Twice is the biggest digimon of 3rd generation and ruled unquestionably from 2016-2018. They have NINE #1 songs on Melon Daily while BTS and Winner only have four and BP and Ikon only have three.
First Gen was SM. Second gen was YG with 2NE1 and Bigbang (the biggest Kpop digimon of alltime with NINETEEN #1 songs on Melon Weekly). Third gen was JYP with Twice then Hybe with BTS, and Hybe has now started to regain their foothold after Aespa/Idle/Ive with New Jeans.
Twice was from 2016-2018, you are right there, but then they flopped in Korea for four years and counting, so feels a bit silly to still make that claim.
Will it completely fall off after one week like last time? Or is it actually successful? Guess we will see next week
jealous? or don't like BTS 's achievemnts?
Just posting another stat. If it makes you cry, that’s not my problem.
Link?
I'll look for it. It's not like I favorite every tweet I come across.
Display MoreI'm talking about Apple Music US.
A group reaching the top 5/10 of Spotify US many times but failing to enter the top 100 of Apple Music US and spending less than 10 days inside the top 200 of the chart with the same songs it's normal but a group that is only chartings inside the top 40/30 of Spotify US not being able to chart on AM US is questionable. Uhm... Interesting.
Let me just remind you that In the 2nd week, all BP group solo songs were already OUT of AM US TOP 200 but many of them were still charting on Spotify US so your faves showed first that it's possible to do well on Spotify US even when you're failing to do the same on AM US.
There are only 3 K-pop songs inside the top 100 of the YOUTUBE USA Weekly chart and two of them are OMG and Ditto. NewJeans songs are the most listening K-pop songs at the moment on Apple Music US and they are charting inside the pop category. I wouldn't be surprised if they reach the top 200 of Apple Music US on the next comeback something your faves took nearly 4 years to do.
Do you have proof of this less than 10 days inside the top 200 of Apple Music USA? Seems hard to believe since their album was in the top 10 of the Apple Music USA chart, higher than New Jeans, so I'm not sure.
BP does a lot better on Spotify, which is a bigger platform than Apple Music anyway.
Those Blinks are just hypocrites. Blackpink barely charted there either. Their first song to ever enter that chart was Sour Candy and they have never cracked into the top 100 with their title tracks (PV, HYLT, SD, LSG), only Ice Cream did well there because of Selena. Their other songs spent less than ten days inside the top 200.
OP's post literally shows HYLT reached the top 10 for 3 days though?
PV reached #6 and Shut Down #3. Shut Down peaked higher than any New Jeans song. Obviously they didn't last long since Spotify is where they are stronger (with a much bigger userbase), but your statement "They have never cracked into the top 100 with their title tracks" is totally false.
Furthermore, HYLT spent 93 days in the global top 100, and Lovesick Girls 41 days.
Typa Girl (b-side) reached #46 on Apple Music Global and spent more than 10 days in the top 200, so your final statement is false as well.
Apple Music global is strongly influenced by Apple Music Japan, where NJ have lucked out with
Dunno how blinks in Japan go in terms of streaming power
I’m shocked twice doesn’t appear on this list then since Japan is all they have.
It's weird. New Jeans gets basically no time in the Global Spotify top 10, but BP does it with ease.
BP struggles to chart on Apple music top 10, but New Jeans is doing so well there. It's strange though since Apple Music is a much smaller platform than Spotify that would be a lot easier for fans to manipulate compared to Spotify. Blinks must just be lazy lol
Why not list all the other groups with 0?
I just copy and pasted the list.
Thread brought to you by the man who posted his google earth location to win an argument against onces
I never did that. I sent a picture of the scenery, but it didn't show where I was located besides the country.
It's just so easy to win arguments against Onces.
This forum is obsessed with shading Twice
Are facts shade?
A lot of people focus on the daily chart, but what about the (even more difficult to chart on) weekly chart?
1. Blackpink - 20 songs (Only girl group to get into the top 10 and top 5, and only group of any gender to hit #1)
2. New Jeans - 2 (One reaching as high as #11)
3. Ive - 1
4. Twice - 0
The gap is real.
Forever One is SNSD's song. I have short memories so I just look at songs from 2022 for comparison
Twice's 5 years of 10+ title songs charting fairly high on Melon is enough to be considered the best of the rest in their generations. Probably even the best ever for gg, but I dont have any infos on any songs charting on 2nd gen though so hard to say
Between their debut and Fancy that's only three and a half years. from after Fancy until now is actually longer. That's more than half their career charting poorly. Considering groups like BP have been consistently charting for 6 and a half years, I definitely wouldn't say Twice is "the best of the rest in their generations" lol.
in a less than 5 year period 2NE1 had 9 number ones and 3 more songs that would have hit #1 if Gaon existed (Hit #1 on melon), just as a reference from the 2nd gen.
