I don't agree at all. A big part of being an idol is having a personality (whether real or fabricated) that endears you to as many potential fans as possible, and I don't think Wonyoung has that. She's not relatable. In her quest for idol perfection, she lacks a sense of authenticity. I would even go as far as saying she has a certain robotic quality to her. Every time I see her, I feel like I'm looking at a shiny product instead of a person. While one could argue that all idols are ultimately pre-packaged products sold to us through carefully curated content, you're not supposed to be so cognizant of this. It's like seeing the man behind the curtain.
I say this as someone who isn't a fan of Ive and doesn't consume much content outside of hearing their music, but that is the rather cold impression she's left me with.
