OTG wasnt meant to be a BP-like song. Rosé preferred style is very different from the usual BP stype and I'm pretty sure everyone who follows her closely would know. From her choice of cover songs on concerts, to her involvement in the whole R album.
Whenever I listen to OTG after a while, it still feel fresh but I kinda understand why many doesnt resonnate with it. I dont expect it to be huge hit cause I know it is not super catchy like Solo, HYLT, D4. It is a good representation of what Rosé wants as a soloist.
Edit: YG shoulda really kept 'Just Dance' for her. That song fits her so well and on top of that it is so catchy. Too bad it was wasted on an abandoned show.
if she followed the footsteps of taeyang and released a ballad in korean, she would be a huge star in korea with her debut album. But she chose a completely different direction
