Probably because nobody else wanted to talk to him he's a nuisance. In the beginning he made friends with 2 other neighbors because he's French and they're French but one day they just stopped talking to him and whenever he saw them he'd try and talk with them and they did the same as I did and ignored him they wouldn't even answer the door for him that guy used to tease our dogs and when we confronted him infront of his wife he would lie and smile behind her back at us so he must've been doing some bullshit with those other guys too just a little shit disturber

I think what bothered me was that he was a retired teacher and when I was in high school I had a teacher that would wait for me every morning just to say "good morning" like specifically only to me every damn morning at the entrance

Here in Poland there are shops inside prisons, you need to get a grant from supervisor each time you want to 'go' shopping. But there is different type of food there like milk, sweets, coffee, also some things like soap, tobacco, are there as well.
Of course you need someone to 'sent' money to prison bank account to be able to do shopping but it's kind of standard that relatives send 100-200 USD per month for those who are in prison to have 'better' life.
