So How You Like That spent 441 days in the MelOn Daily Top 100.
Hype Boy has spent over 900 days, and it's still in the top 60 as of today.
And I don't want to hear any excuses about era differences, because Dynamite, the song delusional Blinks tried to compare HYLT to, is STILL charting in the top 100 as well.
This is shaping up exactly how I expected.
Next I'll figure out how many days HYLT spent at #1.

How many PAKs did it get? How many streams and unique listeners on MelOn? How much did it accumulate on Circle Digital Index? How high did it rank on the Gallup Survey year end? Did it get multiple daesangs like Ditto? How many weeks did it spend in the top 10 of every chart in Korea?
You will NEVER convince me charting high in Cambodia is relevant at all in light of those achievements.
Hype Boy is on a pace to be the biggest girl group hit of all time. It's going to spend 3 years in the top 100, and most of that time was in the top 30.
It debuted in July 2022, and it would've been the highest ranked song of 2023 if not for Ditto, which it actually outranked on Gallup in 2023.
HYLT never came close to those kind of numbers.
But enjoy getting a #1 in Italy, I guess.

There is no excuse. I never said Hype Boy was a bigger hit stateside.
But the gap between Hype Boy and HYLT in Korea is probably 10x the gap that exists on Spotify.
Not to mention Hype Boy literally wasn't even pushed or promoted anywhere BUT Korea, as part of a surprise debut, and it STILL pulled those numbers.
Technically, OMG is still their best performing song on Spotify, but I wouldn't think of ranking it ahead of Hype Boy.
The gap between HYLT and hype boy in Europe, Latam, North America aka Canada, Mexico, etc and Asia when including SEA and China is probably 50x more

if we Go country by country it's gonna be different, overall performance shows you everything.
You want hype boy for Korea? Okay I'll give you that, US? Might not be hylt but its not hype boy either, it's cupid; China? Clearly HYLT; SEA? HYLT; Japan? I'm not sure tbh. Europe? It's 50/50 for both cupid and hylt, tiktok and spotify? also on par, YT - hylt is winning. Overall sales and certs? Close to one another.
I love hype boy but its not even close, even my non kpop friends knew cupid and hylt, just like they know now apt.
