Idol are human too, they're not saints and the tense of hyper competition amongst 4th gen GG could likely raise more their adrenaline level to unprecedented high possible. Now with FIFTY-FIFTY is seemingly ended for good, do you think some idol are feeling grateful that they're have one less competition now?

What happened to Fifty-Fifty and Cupid is something that only happens once in a generation in kpop. Even more impressive is that most of the success was international. Yet all that potential down the drain because of greed and short-sighted thinking. The Korean gp has turned on the members and they don't have a stable fanbase internationally or domestically to back them up. On top of that, the lawsuit will result in a long hiatus, and as more time passes that's more time for the world to forget Fifty-Fifty and Cupid. They're only potential saving grace is if their now unpromoted OST for the Barbie Movie goes viral, which is unlikely.
it's really a salt rubbing on the wound when Newjeans fans talking about FIFTY-FIFTY demise

This thread looks intended to add collateral damage to fifty fifty mishap. Most people here are just trying farcically projecting that fifty fifty cupid's success as wrongdoings and scandalous. They're not on BTS level yet but virality success supposedly translated into undisputed fame. There's seems no any forensic proof that fifty fifty tiktok explode is really caused by serious huge amount of money like massive targeted ads or big name collaboration on TT.
What happen to fifty fifty is akin to momoland situation, gets hated unsparingly due of their sudden surging.

The sad truth is that not many people really care about the group's fate inside or outside of Korea either.
They went for the Western style of promotions and as I said in my first post, I understood why. But only the kpop fandom support can guarantee longevity.
I hope I will be proven wrong but it will be hard for them to maintain their success and popularity, especially with this mess going on. They didn't have enough time to establish themselves in the West and for the most part, they can only expect some supportive posts online or to be used as a token group in fanwars from kpop fans. These things won't help a group
they're just on their first comeback. They're didn't have the luxury of being associated with super big label hence their first class of fandom is coming pretty much from General Public unlike your stan. But this success of Cupid sure become a very good progress for them to cultivating the fandom. But since their career be like hanging on thread, I guess no need for worry your stan might be end up challenged by them on the future

Let put example from recent brand deals trend for KPop artist. The most latest brand deals signed with KPop idols are An Yu Jin with Hana Group which is the biggest Korea financial conglomerates, or Luxury brands for Newjeans that intended to promoting on specifically Korea market, or Domino's Pizza Korea for IU. Man, KPop has really scores big already but most of the big bucks comes because they're undisputable huge on their home soil. So yes, majority of their money still comes from Korea.
And for Fifi, yes they do need to conquer Melon and Circle, For K-poppers that's the true lifeline of their stan and not Billboard.

I don't know if most of AKP just trolling by attaching "one hit wonder" to them or really wishing (and jinxing) that to be happen to them.
This is such a regretful moment when they're supposed to doing next big things and silencing their doubters.
Perhaps Bang PD is really put the truth in his words that he's the only one who can save K-pop

That's what I afraid of, I suspecting that some invisible hand would try to hand grab them when they're on their ripe momentum.

Musically, they're more affordable for me than any of top 6 agency (though I like fifi more)
Domestically, yes they're sitting easily on their laurels on top
Internationally, there will be a long debate for this.

I don't know if this is coincidence, but pink pantheress also associating her with powerpuff girls, while they're also share the similar style of music
