I'm the last person to ever be a solo stan. also I don't hate Twice either. Just find it hypocritical that ARMYs cringe when mentioned along with another big 3 group but are completely fine being mentioned with Twice.

do I look like I care? most ARMYs used BTS rapline to mock other kpop rappers but look at how defensive they're getting over Twice when it comes to singing. Never seen them act so defensive for another group.

y'all are ones twisting the narrative by generalizing all idol rappers as awful. but when I mentioned Jungkook is also an idol rapper, some said he isn't a rapper but a vocalist. Then said Jungkook could be a part of top 1% kpop rappers. How could a non-rapper be top 1% kpop rapper? If he's skilled enough to be a rapper, he is a rapper. Jungkook is a vocalist and rapper. Just bc he's specialized in singing doesn't mean he can't be considered a rapper.
Anyways, I'm anticipating a Jungkook rap in his mixtape. I would really love to hear his rap in a solo song.

Why are you bringing JK up? He doesn’t even call himself a rapper. He was scouted as a vocalist and in BTS profile, he’s always mentioned as a vocalist first before any other positions are tagged to him. This discussion is about people who call themselves rappers but their skills are subpar. If the shoe doesn’t fit your fave, move on

First of all I don't need your validation about being an ARMY or not... I never mentioned that I think JK rap bad so I don't know where you get it from and if I thought so it wouldn't make me a non-ARMY because he is the main vocal not rapper.
I only listen to songs and groups I like and I do listen to songs where I think the rapping is bad but it's such a small part of the song so I can ignore it and enjoy the song.
I did listen to K-POP even before BTS so no I don't hate on other rappers to feel better about listening to BTS which is a statement I kind of don't understand what has to do with me thinking most idol rappers are bad.

well if you think Jungkook's rap sucks, you're not an ARMY. This thread is straight up a hate post. If you hate kpop raps so much, don't listen to them. Might as well never listen to the BTS songs where Jungkook raps. Hating on 95% of kpop rappers is hypocritical considering BTS are also kpop rappers. BTS rapline is great but you don't feel better about listening to BTS by putting down other kpop rappers.

Like you do realize BTS has their rapline consisting of three members named Suga, RM and J-hope so no not JK.

i think you're being too judgmental. it's true that idol rappers sometimes ruin the songs but that's bc of their lack of skills. I find a few American rappers awful as well but I wouldn't go and say "most American rappers are awful" bc of it. Remember Jungkook is also rapper in BTS (doesn't matter if it's just a sub position). The way you insulting other idol rappers made me think whether you would insult Jungkook as well if he rapped.
