I also only found this yesterday, so no need to feel bad. We're just very lucky to encounter it right now.
The video I think was made to make ARMYs go crazy. It's the whole package, the lyrics, the slow, seductive vocals, the God level visual, the stage, it was perfect. 
I see idols as different from other entertainers. They essentially selling themselves to the public. They need a persona that is at least can be considered a decent human being. Being a bully, even a former one, in my opinion disqualifies him from that job. Specially in S.Korea where bullying and suicide is in such a high numbers. Highest suicide rate in the world? Teens escape to kpop to get relief from what they consider as a hell of a life in their country. Encountering their bullies in real life, in TV, and being adored by their fans, living the good life, while their living a trauma filled life due to their bullies, is a bit too much imo.

His mother, Lim Jee-young, reads his suicide note as she has countless times since his death. In the note he describes being beaten and robbed by boys in his class, burned with lighters and having electrical wire tied around his neck as a leash. At the end of the letter he says: "I love you mum and dad, please don't be sad I'm gone, I'll wait for you."
Lim had no idea her son was being bullied. "The bullies began to come to our house before we got home and beat him," she says. "It got to the extent they were using a wooden stick and boxing gloves. But he didn't tell us any of this."

I'll just leave this news here as an example how bad bullying can be in S.Korean middle schools. It's disgusting how people are downplaying victims of bullyings experience.
I find it curious that schools in S.K. will let bullies go with nary a punishment. Their very lenient, so I'm not surprised that this teacher is so supportive of admitted bully Hyunjin.
If you bullied someone enough that they've contemplated suicide, needed therapy, sexually harrassed someone, committed physical violence and degrade someone continously, then definitely YES, that person need to be kicked out of the industry. Theres a lot of morally upright, talented, skilled, charismatic, good looking people to take that persons place.
I think bullies should get punish, otherwise, future and current bullies, will see this as reason not to stop their bullying. Hyunjin is an idol, now he can also be an idol to bullies if he gets away with it with almost no consenquences. There will be more victims of bullying. I read that S. Korea has the highest suicide rate, I assume school bullying plays a large part of it. Think of what the victims are going to feel that despite all the hoopla, their aggressor still did not face the consequences of their vile actions.
Tldr. I agree with knetz, they should boot him out of the group even if he apologized. Writing that apology letter does not absolve him of anything, he should follow Jimin and get out of the industry.
So he was a bully in the end. That bullying accussation in the past did have merit, but it did not gain enough traction. Now, that there's too many victim coming out, he had no choice but to apologize. It doesn't paint a good picture of his character. He sounds like a scum. Shame about his face tho, wasted on him.
I can't see it. Taehyung was bullied in school. Yoongi was too poor, too busy surviving, perfecting his craft. RM too smart for that. Jhope, I can see him to busy with his dance crew to bother, same with Jimin. Jungkook, too young. He became a trainee at 13? He came from a family of artists. I'd hope he was plenty sensitive enough to not bully people. Plus he was so small predebut. Jin, he was raised too well to be a bully, plus I saw his predebut pics, he looks like someone that could have been bullied himself.
On the other hand, I found a treasure. Pic above made me wonder how Jin was street casted twice. While the pic below made me nod my head. He had a major glowup.

Serious tho. I'm happy that she's in a relationship during this pandemic and is not alone. As for the age gap. She's an adult, a mature woman at 25, she can choose who to date. Congrats to her living her life. Fuck Dispatch tho.
I hate that the bullying of a disabled kid, has the posibility of turning out to be true with how prevalent bullying is in S.K. If it turns out to be true, I hope the victim gets his apology and compensation for mental and physical damage he had to endure.
I've specifically look for that song early on to add to my playlist, when I was a baby army. It's just that good.
