Bep produced a lot of bops, but their style is to create a different sound to suit each of their clients, so you’re not gonna find a song similar to their previous one when it’s for 2 different groups. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t. Bep’s takes on twice and apink and sistar and chungha’s sounds were all knock-outs and gave us great songs that suit the essence of each artist (like ooh ahh, cheer up, tt, likey, fancy; only one, i’m so sick, eung eung, duhmdurum; touch my body, i like that, lonely; roller coaster, gotta go). They also produced happy for wjsn tho and that song was a dud lol. So yeah, i think that’s just the case this time for stayc. Bep’s vision of them didn’t quite produce a stellar result. Maybe they’ll figure it out later; maybe they won’t. It happens

I can’t disagree. I totally agree that the holy trinity in her discography was roller coaster - gotta go - snapping and she could never live up to it ever since. Stay tonight was good but not as good, and everything after that was a little underwhelming at best and quite mediocre at worst. I hope she finds her musical gold pot again bc if she doesn’t i’m afraid she won’t be able to regain her digital prowess ever again.

It was a scene featured in one of the teasers for the album lol and it’s much longer there so people had already talked about it plenty. The mv didn’t do the scene justice since they only left it in for literally 2 seconds, and so anyone not having watched the teasers most likely wouldn’t get it.

yeah the fact that brave bros wrote ma boy and gone not around any longer for sistar19 and especially alone and so cool, the 2 breakout hits for sistar, says all about their ability to make hits AND good music. It was always lack of exposure that prevented brave girls from taking off, not lacklustre music. Now that they’ve got their lucky break it’s really exciting to see where they go from here

It would be deserved bc their music is actually good and their confident and carefree image is suitable for summer. Can’t say the same for some other ggs that have tried to snatch the title since sistar was gone
